Missed-call text-back

One fix at a time.

Missed a call? They get a text in seconds.

Missed-call text-back sends a friendly text to anyone whose call you couldn’t answer, usually within a few seconds, so they don’t just dial the next business on the list. It is included in the Growth plan at $400 a month. One-time setup is $500-1,500, and we set it up for businesses across Bradenton, Sarasota and the Gulf Coast.

Why it matters

Most people who reach voicemail don’t leave a message. They hang up and try the next name in the search results. A quick, human-sounding text keeps the conversation going while you finish what you were doing, whether that’s a patient in the chair or a water heater in a hot attic.

How it works

How missed-call text-back works

  1. 1

    A call goes unanswered

You’re with a customer, on a ladder, or it’s after hours. The call rings out like normal.

  2. 2

They get a text right away

Something like “Sorry we missed you! What can we help with?” in your voice, from your business number.

  3. 3

    You get a tidy summary

Their reply lands on your phone or inbox, with who called and what they need, so you call back the right people first.

Same fix, two shapes

Clinics and service businesses need different things

For clinics

For clinics, the text never asks for symptoms or health details. It offers a callback, a link to book, or the office hours, and the front desk sees the list when they come back from lunch.

For trades & home services

For contractors and home services, the text asks for the address and what’s going on, so you can tell from the job site whether it’s an emergency or a next-week estimate.

What you get

What’s included

  • Setup on your existing business number where possible, or a new local number
  • Your wording, written with you (we draft, you approve)
  • Office-hours and after-hours messages
  • Spam and repeat-caller filtering
  • Monthly check that it’s working, and changes when you need them
  • Founding clients get 30-50% off the first few months in exchange for a testimonial.

We handle your business’s texting registration with the phone carriers as part of setup. It usually takes 1-3 weeks before texts can go out.

No surprises: this is included in the Growth plan at $400/mo. One-time setup is $500-1,500. Founding clients get 30-50% off the first few months in exchange for a testimonial. Pricing details.

Works with what you have

Most business phone lines, cell-forwarded numbers and VoIP systems. If your phone system can’t do it directly, we can usually forward to a number that can, without changing the number your customers know.

Good questions

Missed-call text-back: common questions

Ask us anything, really.
How fast does the text go out?
Usually within a few seconds of the missed call. You choose whether it goes out all day, only after hours, or only when nobody picks up.
Which calls trigger a text?
Calls that ring out or go to voicemail from mobile numbers. Landlines can’t receive texts, so those simply get your normal voicemail.
Is it legal to text people who called me?
Replying to someone who just called your business is generally treated as a response to their inquiry, but the rules still apply: identify your business, honor STOP right away, and don’t send marketing without consent. We set it up that way and explain it in plain English. This isn’t legal advice, and we’ll point you to the details on our SMS terms.
Will spam calls get texts too?
We filter known spam and repeat robocalls so they don’t get a reply, and you can block numbers any time.
Can the text help them book?
Yes. It can include a link to your online booking, or pair with our online booking fix so people can pick a time without a callback.
Do I have to change my phone number or system?
Usually not. We work with what you have first. If a change makes sense, we explain why and what it costs before anything happens.

So, what's stealing your time?

Tell us one thing. A real person reads it and gets back to you, usually the same business day.
